Who we are

rast.is is run by RAST RADEV LLC, an Illinois limited liability company ("RAST", "we", "us"). These terms apply when you use rast.is, a website concept we host for you, or the RAST portal. By using them, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

If you hire RAST, the proposal or agreement we sign with you governs that work. Where it says something different from these terms, the signed agreement wins.

Website concepts

• A concept is free and creates no obligation on either side. There is nothing to cancel.
• We build one only when we see a clear opportunity, so not every request gets one.
• A concept is a proposal, not a finished website. It may contain mistakes, so don't rely on it for facts about your own business.
• It is built from what is already public on your website. Your logo, photos and text remain yours. We use them only to show you the concept, and we delete the photos when it expires.
• The concept's design and code belong to RAST. If you hire us, the concept becomes the start of your site under the agreement we sign.
• A concept is private. Please don't post the link publicly. You can ask us to take it down at any time.

Using rast.is

You may use rast.is to learn about RAST and to contact us. Please don't:

• try to get into concepts, accounts or parts of the site that aren't meant for you;
• copy the site's content or design, or collect it with automated tools;
• send spam or false information through our forms;
• attack, overload or interfere with the site or the platform behind it;
• use the site in a way that breaks the law.

We may block anyone who does.

Accounts

If we give you an account in the RAST portal, keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has used them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account to protect the platform or other customers.

Our content

The text, design, images and software on rast.is and in our concepts belong to RAST or to the people who licensed them to us. Except as these terms allow, you may not copy, change or reuse them without our written permission. Work we show for clients belongs to those clients.

Information and links

We try to keep rast.is accurate, but it may contain mistakes or be out of date, and we may change it at any time. Links to other websites are there for convenience. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for them.

Emails from us

If you request a concept and tick the box, you agree that we may email you about it and about our services. You can unsubscribe at any time with the link in our emails. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

No warranties

rast.is, our concepts and the portal are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, including that they will always be available or free of errors.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, RAST won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of rast.is, a concept or the portal. Our total liability for any claim about them is limited to $100. These limits don't apply to paid work under a signed agreement, which has its own terms.

If you misuse the site

If you break these terms and someone makes a claim against RAST because of it, you agree to cover RAST's reasonable costs of dealing with that claim, including legal fees.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute about them will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Illinois, and you and RAST agree to their jurisdiction.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The new version applies from the date shown at the top of this page. If you keep using rast.is after that, you accept the new terms.

General

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given up the right to enforce it later. These terms, together with any agreement you sign with us, are the whole agreement between you and RAST about the site.
